This website is set up by the Sweden based management consulting and investment firm Omsenco AB. The purpose is to document its attempts to figure out the feasibility of algae as raw material for biodiesel.

Although we have an initial positive attitude towards investing in algae energy ventures, we currently feel some important bits and pieces are missing in the big picture, primarily a likely roadmap to competitive production costs. Actually, algae energy production costs are not very transparent at all.
